The Service ("TripHook", available at triphook.me) is operated by POLEMARHI DOO, Vojvode Mišića 46/1, 35250 Paraćin, Republic of Serbia (MB 21688746, PIB 112505565) ("we", "us", "the Operator").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
TripHook is a travel-discovery reverse-marketplace. Travellers describe a destination or trip they are interested in; providers and other users may respond with offers or bids. We provide the platform that connects these parties.
We operate in two modes, controlled by feature settings:
Some features may be unavailable depending on which mode is active in your region or at a given time.
This travel platform is operated by POLEMARHI DOO from Serbia. While our website is accessible globally via the internet, our user-account features, interactive tools, and marketing activities are intended strictly for residents of the European Union, the United States, and Serbia. We do not intentionally target, market to, or solicit user registrations from individuals residing in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Brazil, or Turkey. Any use of our platform by individuals residing outside our primary intended markets is entirely voluntary and conducted on a passive-availability basis.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for activity that occurs under it. We use email-and-password sign-in (via our authentication provider, Supabase); keep your password confidential and your email account secure.
Any "trust tier" or similar status shown on the Service reflects self-attested information and in-app activity (such as completed trips). It is not identity verification. We do not verify government identity documents.
We are a platform, not a party to deals between users. When a traveller and a provider/bidder reach an arrangement, that arrangement is between them. We are not the seller, travel agent, tour operator, or organiser, and we do not guarantee any offer, listing, price, or the conduct of any user.
Providers and bidders are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of their listings, offers, and any services they deliver, including holding any licences required in their jurisdiction.
For the purposes of EU law, we act as a commercial agent for the relevant Provider; the contract for the underlying experience, stay, or service is concluded directly between you and that Provider. We are not a travel package organiser or a facilitator of linked travel arrangements within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Nothing in this Section affects any mandatory consumer rights you have against us or against a Provider.
When results are shown to a traveller, the offers and listings we display are ordered by the following main parameters, in descending importance:
1. Recency — provider quotes responding to a traveller's request are shown most-recent-first (by the time each quote was submitted).
2. Proximity — accommodation listings matched to a destination are shown nearest-first (by distance from the requested place), and a listing is only shown where the requested place falls within that listing's stated service radius.
Recency and proximity are weighted most heavily because our purpose is to show travellers the offers that best fit their request. We do not rank offers by a hidden relevance score, we do not accept payment from providers to influence ranking, and we do not give our own offers preferential placement. We may adjust these parameters to improve results for travellers and will keep this description up to date.
We do not currently charge providers a commission. If we introduce one, we will update these Terms and give providers notice before it takes effect. Commission terms applicable to any future transaction will be presented before you commit to it.
TripHook does not process payments or store any card data. Bookings are completed via links to third-party providers (such as Skyscanner and Duffel), who process any payment under their own terms and privacy policies.
You agree not to: post unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading content; harass, abuse, or harm other users; circumvent the marketplace to avoid commission where it applies; scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service; or upload identity documents or sensitive personal data of yourself or others (the Service does not provide for, request, or store such documents).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
You retain ownership of content you submit (trip posts, messages, ratings, listings). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display that content only as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit it.
Where you submit information about another person — for example, a co-traveller you name in a trip post or request — you confirm that you have that person's permission to share their information with us and to have it processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Do not submit another person's identity documents or special-category (sensitive) data.
Disputes about a trip, offer, or service are primarily between the users involved. We may, at our discretion, provide tools or assistance to help resolve them, but we are not obliged to mediate and are not liable for the outcome.
If a dispute between you and us is not resolved through our complaints process, you may be entitled to refer it to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body in your country of habitual residence. A list of accredited ADR bodies is available from your national consumer authority. The EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available. We are not obliged to participate in ADR but will consider doing so on a case-by-case basis.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days under Directive 2011/83/EU. That right does not apply to contracts for the provision of accommodation, transport, or services related to leisure activities that are to be supplied on a specific date or within a specific period (Article 16(l) of the Directive). Because the experiences, stays, and provider services arranged through the Platform are booked for specific dates, the right of withdrawal will not apply to most bookings made through the Platform. Where it does apply — for example, to a standalone Platform service not tied to a specific date — you may exercise it by contacting us using the details in Section 13 within 14 days, and we will not begin performing that service during the withdrawal period without your express request.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts, omissions, offers, or services of other users.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Serbian law or, for consumers in the EU, under mandatory consumer-protection law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of the European Union or of your country of residence.
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email, and continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. This does not deprive a consumer resident in the EU of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
